Our Statement of Faith:
Our God:
We believe that there is One God eternally existing in three, co-equal persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; II Corinthians 13:14).
Our Scriptures:
We believe that the Bible is God's written revelation to man and that it is verbally inspired, authoritative, and without error in the original documents (II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:20-21).
Man's
Creation & Fall:
We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God but through Adam's sin became alienated from God, acquired a sin nature, and came under the judicial sentence of death (Genesis 1:25-27; Romans 3:22-23; Ephesians 2:1-13).
Salvation:
We believe that salvation from sin and death is the gift of God offered to man only by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and that this faith is manifested in works pleasing to God (Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 2:11-14).
The
Person & Work of Jesus Christ:
We believe that Jesus Christ was completely man and completely God, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, willingly died on a cross to provide for our redemption, bodily resurrected and ascended into heaven, is currently seated at the right hand of the Father and is interceding for us, and He will return to reign on earth in power and glory (Philippians 2:5-11).
The Holy Spirit:
We believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit, that He performs the miracle of new life in an unbeliever and indwells believers, enabling them to live a Godly life until the day of redemption (John 3:5-8; Romans 8:9; Ephesians 1:13-14).
The Church:
We believe that the Church is a spiritual organism made up of all born again persons in this age, irrespective of their affiliation with Christian organizations (Ephesians 1:22-23; 5:25-27; I Corinthians 12:12-26). >

CHRIST’S CHURCH SHINING BRIGHTLY IS AMERICA’S
ONLY HOPE !
"Blessed is the nation whose God is _____???_____ [whoever you want him, her, or it to be (i.e. your idol); sports & entertainment; MONEY; hedonism; sex anyway you want it; secular humanism; atheism..-
NO WAY!]. “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD.”
- PSALM 33:12 “Whereas, it is the duty of nations as well as men to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions in humble sorrow yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon, and to recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history: that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord…”
- Abraham Lincoln (16th President) “If
we abide by the principles taught in the Bible, our country will go on prospering
and to prosper; but if we and our posterity neglect its instructions and authority, no man can tell
how sudden a catastrophe may overwhelm us [9-11?] and bury all our glory in profound
obscurity.”
- Daniel Webster (U.S. Statesman – 1782-1852) “Righteousness
exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.”
– PROVERBS 14:34 “Those
who forsake the law praise the wicked, but those who keep the law resist them [spiritual
warfare].”
- PROVERBS 28:4 “If truth is not diffused, error will be. If God and His Word are not known and received, the devil and his works will gain the ascendancy. If the evangelical volume does not reach every hamlet, the pages of a corrupt and licentious literature will. If
the power of the gospel is not felt throughout the length
and breadth of this land, anarchy and misrule, degradation and misery, corruption and darkness will
reign without mitigation or end.”
- Daniel Webster "It
is time for You to act, O LORD; Your law is being broken."
- PSALM 119:126 “Gentlemen, I have lived a long time and am convinced that God governs the affairs of men. If a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without His air? I, therefore, move that prayers imploring the assistance of Heaven be held every morning before we proceed to business.”
- Benjamin Franklin (his call to prayer that broke the deadlock over
congressional representation by leading to the “Great Compromise” (i.e.
a bicamerial
legislature)
during the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia in 1776). “No educated man can afford to be ignorant of the Bible.…A thorough knowledge of the Bible is worth more than a college education.”
– Theodore Roosevelt (26th President) “That
book [the Bible], Sir, is
the Rock upon which our republic rests.”
– Andrew Jackson (7th President) “There are a good many problems before the American people today, and before me as President, but I expect to find the solution of those problems just in the proportion that I am faithful in the study of the Word of God.”
– Woodrow Wilson (28th President) “The whole inspiration of our civilization springs from the teachings of Christ and the lessons of the prophets. To read the Bible for these fundamentals is a necessity of American life.”
– Herbert Hoover (31st President) “We
cannot
read the history of our rise and development as a nation, without reckoning the place the
Bible
has occupied in shaping the advances of the Republic.”
–Franklin D. Roosevelt (32nd
President) “Within the covers of the Bible are all the answers for all the problems men face. The
Bible can touch hearts, order minds and
refresh souls.”
– Ronald Reagan (40th President) “It
is impossible to rightly govern the world without God or the Bible.”
– George Washington (1st
President) “It
is the duty of all nations to
acknowledge the Providence of
Almighty God, to obey His will,
to be grateful for His benefits,
and humbly to implore His protection
and favor.”
– George Washington
(1st President) “Direct my thoughts, words and work. Wash away my sins in the immaculate Blood of the Lamb, and purge my heart by Thy Holy Spirit…Daily frame me more and more into the likeness of Thy Son Jesus Christ.”
– George Washington
(in his prayer book) “The foundations of our society and our government rest so much on the teachings of the Bible that it would be difficult to support them if faith in these teachings would cease to be practically universal in our country.”
– Calvin
Coolidge (30th
President) “I
have always said,
and always will
say, that the
studious perusal
of the Sacred
Volume will make
us better citizens,
better fathers
and better husbands.” – Thomas
Jefferson
(3rd President) “I
believe
the Bible
is the best
gift God
has given
to man.”
– Abraham
Lincoln
(16th
President) “We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of Heaven. We have been preserved these many years in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth and power as no other nation has ever grown. But we have forgotten God. We
have
forgotten
the
gracious
Hand
which
preserved
us
in
peace,
and
multiplied
and
enriched
and
strengthened
us;
and
we
have
vainly
imagined,
in
the
deceitfulness
of
our
hearts,
that
all
these
blessings
were
produced
by
some
superior
wisdom
and
virtue
of
our
own. Intoxicated
with
unbroken
success,
we
have
become
too
self-sufficient
to
feel
the
necessity
of
redeeming
and
preserving
grace,
too
proud
to
pray
to
the
God
that
made
us!
It
behooves
us
then
to
humble
ourselves
before
the
offended
Power,
to
confess
our
national
sins
and
to
pray
for
clemency
and
forgiveness.”
– Abraham
Lincoln (in
declaring a day of national fasting,
prayer, and humiliation –
1863) “…the Bible, the Word of God, has made a unique contribution in shaping the United States as a distinctive and blessed nation and people…Deeply held religious convictions springing from the Holy Scriptures led to the early settlement of our nation…Biblical
teachings inspired concepts of civil government that are
contained in our Declaration of Independence and the Constitution
of the United States" (United
States Congress’s Public Law 97-280 – proclaiming 1983 as the “Year of the Bible”). “The church is Jesus’ bride, body and building. We are a
colony of heaven – outposts of another kingdom. These outposts
should be expressions of Jesus’ presence and power. The power of the world
to come must be evident in our churches. The supernatural should be normal in
the life of the church.”
– Pastor
Ron Phillips “If you can fully explain a church, then something’s wrong. If a church is only methodology and organizational technique and clever advertising, it is a departure from what God planned it to be. There should always be the element of supernatural assistance that is unexplainable to the natural mind.”
– Pastor
Jim Cymbala “It
is not enough to teach
and preach about the Spirit. We
must experience Him personally
in new depths, or we will
accomplish little. Without
the Holy Spirit there
is no quickening of the
Scripture. Worship
is hollow. Preaching
is mechanical, never
piercing the heart. Conviction
of sin is almost nonexistent. Faith
is more mental than
heartfelt. Prayer
meetings fade away. Church
meetings become routine. And
the Christian people
stay lukewarm at best.”
– Pastor
Jim Cymbala “Follow after holiness; it is the Christian’s crown and glory. An unholy church! It is useless to the world, and of no esteem among men. It is an abomination, hell’s laughter, heaven’s abhorrence. The worst evils which have ever come upon the world have been brought upon her by an unholy church.”
– Charles
Spurgeon “…I
will build
My church,
and the
gates of
hell will
not overcome
it.”
– MATTHEW
16:18 AND FINALLY, "if
My people,
who are
called
by My
name,
will humble
themselves
and pray
and seek
My face,
and turn
from their
wicked
ways,
then will
I hear
from heaven
and will
forgive
their
sin and
will heal
their
land."

My
righteous
right
hand."
